A lot of people use Photoshop, and for different reasons too. Photoshop is not free – it actually costs quite a lot. But if you or your parents have it (a lot of people do), then this is a useful primer to learning how to use it. Magazines (for better or worse) use Photoshop to enhance the images they put in their publications. On the other hand, some people just use Photoshop to create really funny memes. Whatever reason you may want to use Photoshop for, you first have learn the basics of using it.
