In this activity, you’ll learn one of the most important camping skills: pitching a tent – if you want to sound like a pro, that’s what it’s called when you put up a tent! Of course, there are many different types of tents, and how you set one up will vary, but this is one of the most common ones. So see if your parents will let you set one up in the garden if you have one, or find somewhere local you can go with them to do it. You don’t *have* to stay overnight – it’s quite fun just to play with, but if your family all wants to go camping, then there are few more fin things to do in the outdoors.
