Doing yoga as an exercise is a pretty new idea. Traditional yoga has a spiritual aspect to it, but yoga as an exercise does away with it and focuses on its being an exercise which is good for you. Although it cannot treat diseases, doing yoga has been shown to improve one’s quality of life.
